This stunning reversible Chinese silk jacket was purchased in 1949 by a family member serving in the U.S. Air Force while stationed in Japan. A true mid-century piece, it reflects both the craftsmanship and cultural influence of the era.
One side features deep red silk with tone-on-tone floral jacquard; the reverse is black with colorful floral embroidery and functional front pockets. Finished with frog closures and a mandarin collar, this rare Tang-style jacket is both collectible and wearable.
