This is a vintage Descoware enameled cast iron skillet with a wooden handle. Descoware was a Belgian brand of cookware made popular in the mid-20th century (MCM), notably used and promoted by Julia Child.
11-inch skillet with a wood handle, perfect for use on induction, electric, and gas stoves. This original piece features a vibrant orange flame color and a durable cast iron construction with enamel surface coating, making it easy to clean and perfect for cooking a variety of dishes.
The bottom markings confirm it was made in Belgium by Descoware and is a size 28 skillet.

Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition. Really pretty! A few chips In enamel at the base and top rim. 2 pin sized marks in the center of the gray portion of the pan (see close up pics). Handle not loose. Colors bright. Wooden handle shows some wear (finish is chipped in places)
