Mooring Buoy, Winter, Sully Stick
A long tapered buoy used in place of a standard round mooring buoy during the winter months. Has a molded in eyelet at the top for easy retrieval.

• Base eyelet is reinforced with a galvanized metal bushing for durability
• The shape and its concrete ballast help it escape ice entrapment better than a round buoy and can extend the useful life of a mooring installation by protecting it from the damaging effects of freezing temperatures
• Concrete ballast keeps stick upright

Buoyancy ratings listed on the product page indicate the maximum flotation the buoy provides while fully submerged. Use 50% of this value as the weight the buoy can support at the level of the blue stripe. As a general rule, you should select a buoy offering slightly over twice the amount of flotation required for the weight of the anchor chain you will be using. (Example: 50 lbs of anchor chain will require a little more than 100 lbs of buoyancy)
