This unit uses one standard 9 volt battery and includes an auto off function designed to save battery life. Special test lead input icons integrated into the display prompt the user to ensure correct lead placement for a desired test. Capable of testing AC/DC voltage and current this meter also measures amp, resistance and continuity (audible) and performs diode and battery testing (1.5 voltage) 2000 meter voltage /(9 voltage) 20 voltage). Data hold feature captures reading on the display and holds thru multiple tests. Housing is impact resistant and features comfortable and protective rubber boot.
