Rare vintage mid century, 1963 Royal Selangor Pewter Winnie the Pooh wind up musical decor. Plays the theme from Winnie the Pooh and features Pooh, Christopher Robin and Piglet all on an upturned umbrella from the Blustery Day. Pooh and Christopher Robin rush to Piglet's rescue, as they float through the flooded 100 Acre Wood to save Piglet. When wound, Pooh as the watchman holding onto the umbrella cane moving back and forth and waving. When you set it down Pooh no longers moves on his own but all of the them are swept around in circles as if on water. Its really quite delightful created by Wonderland Music Company and copyright attribution to Disney as a legal disclaimer.
CONDITION: Very finely crafty and weighty as well. Works exactly as it should with all the stickers on the bottom intact with instructions to ONLY turn 7 times as to not overwind.
