Magnifying glass lenses have different configurations depending on their purpose, but the most classic and stable design is called the Steinheil type.
This type consists of three lenses (a crown convex lens sandwiched between two flint concave lenses, joined with balsam), which corrects chromatic aberration and has a wide field of view. However, the curvature of the internal bonding surfaces is strong, and therefore the manufacturing cost is high, so it is not usually available on the market.
We have been manufacturing various distinctive magnifying glasses according to their uses, but this time, at the request of our users, we have given new life to this classic magnifying glass and completed the Peak Steinheil Loupe 7x, followed by 10x, 14x, and 20x to create a series.
When using this magnifying glass, as with other loupes, hold the loupe directly in front of your eye with your right hand, and hold the object to be examined in your left hand, adjusting its position back and forth to focus.
