Doxycycline Hyclate Tablets, 20 mg

DOXIROBE Gel (doxycycline hyclate) is indicated for treating and controlling periodontal disease in dogs. This 2-syringe system, consisting of a polymer delivery system (N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and poly (DL-lactide)) in Syringe A and the active ingredient (doxycycline) in Syringe B, is mixed before application. Once applied, the gel can decrease periodontal pocket depth, increase reattachment and decrease gingival inflammation. The flowable solution contains 8.5% doxycycline activity and slowly releases doxycycline from the polymer, providing effective local antimicrobial treatment. This biodegradable and non-irritating formulation is applied subgingivally to the affected teeth.
